Proofing Handling Skills for Competition
Proofing Handling Skills for Competition
Advanced Agility Course
Service Description
This class consists of a six-week session where participants will focus on high level skills using small proofing skills one week, followed by practicing larger course work the next week. This alternating structure should help dogs and their owners improve both their individual skills and their ability to navigate more complex courses together. Participants in this class should have a strong foundation base and a willingness to incorporate verbal skills into their handling skills. By the end of the course, participants can expect to enhance their handling skills through the incorporation of verbal communication strategies.
Cancellation Policy
General: * We do not refund cancellations for group classes. * If you sign up and are no longer able to attend, you are welcome to sell your spot to somebody else, once all original spots have filled. You may sell your spot at a profit, at a loss, or at your own cost. The dog/handler team you sell your spot to must be of an appropriate level to join the class. * Spots may not be sold if there are still open spots in the class. Females in Season: * We will require you to cancel if your dog is in heat. Your spot will be refunded (or pro-rated if part-way through a multi-week class), however you will need to wait until the end of your dog's heat cycle (23 days from when we are first notified) to book again. CloverField Based Cancellations: * If CloverField K9 is forced to cancel a session for any reason (like dangerous weather), a makeup session will be offered. Refunds will not be issued if you are unable to attend the makeup. * If CloverField K9 cancels for any reason and a makeup session is not able to be offered, the skipped session(s) will be refunded. Dangerous Weather: * Dangerous Weather Policy enactments are at CloverField K9's Discretion * Classes will be postponed if temperatures are below 25 degrees Fahrenheit at the time of your class. * Outdoor classes will be postponed if there is thunder or lightening during class-time or within 30 minutes before. Activities that could be moved inside will have that option. * Unsafe travel conditions will result in the option to reschedule based on the road conditions near to CloverField K9. * Summertime group classes will be modified to "mini-private lessons" rather than a group class if temperatures are too hot for dogs to wait their turn. In this instance, the duration of the class will be divided by the number of participants and each participant will be given their portion of time as a private lesson. If temperatures are still too excessive, class may be rescheduled.
